#FridayFunday: NYFW Spring 18 Recap + Highlights

Hey lovelies!

I hope you all have remained safe during the natural disasters that have struck the southern United States as well as those that have struck internationally such as in Mexico and India. This week I wanted to get back into the swing of things now that I have a constant source of power! As we all know NYFW SS18 closed out last weekend and now is the perfect time to give you a LolaChel.com recap of the best looks, stars, and moments of this year's event. Eat your heart out below!

Top 3 Best Shows:

Tom Ford

For this show I could really see a powerful, game-changing woman in every single piece that walked down the runway. From the bodysuits and leather joggers to the sequinned sleeved gowns and shoulder-padded blazers this collection definitely finds itself on my list. Check out my top shots below:

Fenty Puma

This collection combines three things I like: The 90's, The Olympics, and Rihanna! Now granted I'm not a Rihanna stan but I love to give credit where it's due and this collection brought out contrasting colors and solidified athleisure's place in fashion. This runway not only made you fall in love with the brand but also the models that sported it. Check out what I mean in my top picks below.

Eckhaus Latta

Speaking of models - in this collection, EVERY possible representation (besides visible disability) was presented. From weight to age to skin tones, to nationality, to PREGNANCY - there was a model for that. Now I must say there was a 60/40 split in this collection of pieces that I liked but the range of inclusion truly landed this show on my list. See for yourself below.
