What was your first modeling experience?

My first actual modeling experience was for my mom when I was 16. She does hair, and chose me, of course, to be one of her models. The day of the show my hair was done. I felt so important and cute. The instructions from her were simple. Walk to the opposite side of the stage, pose, and then finish off at the end of the runway.

The show started, and my turn was coming up. I stepped on stage and literally froze right there in front of everyone. My mind had gone blank, I got nervous, then I started to cry. Luckily the other models came to walk me down the runway, and everyone cheered for me!

My mom was still proud of me too.

What or Who Inspired You To Start Modeling?

I used to be really insecure, but when I turned 18, the sports photographer at my high school offered for me to shoot with him and a couple of other local photographers. I received many compliments that day which boosted my confidence. From there, I was referred to more photographers. I made friends with working models, and eventually, I had developed a small, decent portfolio to start attending castings with.

What's Your Modeling Specialty? (Runway, Beauty, Swim, etc.)

I am usually booked for Fashion Editorials, Runway, or Swim. Editorials have to be my favorite because I love the creativity behind it. Editorial makes weird or unusual beautiful.

If You Could Sit Down With One Super Model (Living Or Deceased) Who Would It Be?

For sure Naomi Campbell. It may be a cliché answer, but the woman has an entire walk named after her. That is ICONIC! I feel like a conversation with her would be well worth it. She's blunt, beautiful, and inspirational. I aspire for my resume to half as impressive as hers.

What Are Your Goals For Modeling (Agency signing? Starting your own agency? Other?) And Have You Reached Any Of Them?

I am very passionate about modeling. From this, I'd want to show people that achieving your dreams is possible when the work is put in. My main goal as of now is to get signed with a top worldwide agency like IMG or DNA. Then from there, I'd love to work with designers like Gucci, Balmain, Moschino, Chanel, etc.

What Was Your Best Modeling Experience/Memory?

My best modeling memory was when I landed my first magazine cover. It was for a local bridal magazine, but it was still a COVER. Like, that's the first thing people see. That cover got me so much recognition. I remember strangers asking if I was the girl on the cover, and I felt so famous. The magazine is actually still on display in some places 2 years later.

What Was Your Worst Modeling Experience/Memory?

My worst would have to be my first trip to NYC. My friend and I were attending open calls. I got to witness how cutthroat NYC really was when the girl ahead of us couldn’t accept rejection. Her behavior caused the agency to stop seeing models for the day.

Have You Branched Into Anything Outside Of Modeling?

The main thing I'm focused on right now is my modeling career, but I do have other hobbies like sketching, drawing, and photography. I'm low key very creative.

If You Could Sum Up Your Modeling Experience In Three Words, What Would They Be?

Oh. My. Gosh.
