What Peaked Your Interest In Modeling?

image5.jpeg

America’s Next Top Model! From the time I first laid eyes on it, I knew it was something I could do. When I did my first shoot, I said, “Okay...I like the taste of this!” Then I did my first runway show and said, “Oh hell yes! I’m addicted! This world needs me!” Lol.

How Would You Describe Your First Modeling Experience?

I think every model can feel me when i say, Oh my god, I was so frikking nervous! Lol. I was very confident, but at the same time because this was something new, I was shivering in my pumps! I felt like BRabbit in the movie 8-mile when he said “My palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy... but on the surface I look calm and ready to drop bombs!” LOL. The only thing i could do was sit quietly, and then try to make a joke here and there, and talk to myself in my head to maintain my sanity. But in one simple word, I was excited. Lolol.

What's Your Modeling Specialty? (Runway, Print, Swim, etc.)

image11.jpeg

To be honest,  I don’t have a specialty....because I’m in love with them ALL!  I practice, practice, practice! I am in LOVE with runway. I am aware of the muscles in my face for beauty. Like controlling the muscles in my forehead, or being able to make my ears move or bring intensity in my eyes while moving my whole face changing my expression if necessary. I mean, I used to sit at my desk at work with a small mirror tucked between my two computer monitors STARING at myself. Lol. I would wiggle my ears or scrunch  my face or ball up my lips just to see what my face look like when I felt myself doing something different. So it helped me get good with it. Then with swimwear, I’ve been a size 0 since I came out the womb!  And being an athlete helps with fitness and it helps with the look of the body in a swimsuit help me sell the swimsuit. Commercial was the toughest because its SOOO hard being cheesy! But I got good at it. I will say that there is always room for improvement, no matter how great you are something.

Who Would you Say Your Favorite Client To Have Worked With Is?

To date, I would have to say ACID NYC. Hands down. They’re eclectic, funky, their clothes are full of energy and life and diversity, And not to mention, they are loving and accepting like family.

Where’s The Farthest (Location Wise) That Modeling Has Taken You?

It’s still unbelievable, and outrageous. But my work has been published and on tv screens globally!!  I still can’t believe it! And physically all up the East Coast, LA, and Cuba baby! Fidel better watch out! Lol.

What Are Your Goals For Modeling (Agency signing? Starting your own agency? Other?) And Have You Reached Any Of Them?

A wise one moves in silence. 🤫🤫🤫

What Was Your Best Modeling Experience/Memory?

Walking during New York Fashion Week was my best modeling experience! I didn’t even have a plan. My Boyfriend at the time got me a discounted ticket to New York at 2:30am. By 7 am I was on the plane. By 11 am I was in a fitting! By 2 pm I was at a casting (which I booked)! I walked in my show the next day. Two days later, a producer friend pulled me from spectating and brought me backstage and the rest was KAYESTORY!

What Was Your Worst Modeling Experience/Memory?

I honestly can’t say that I’ve had one. 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Have You Branched Into Anything Outside Of Modeling?

I’ve dabbled into styling, runway coaching production and photography. I love anything that has to do with modeling!
